Triple Front Shock Kit

Part# TS450

Installation Instruction:

1. Park the vehicle on level ground. Set the emergency brake and block the rear tires.

2. Place a floor jack under the front axle tube, away from the U-bolts, and raise vehicle. Remove tire

and stock shock.

3. Unbolt upper shock mount from frame rail. Lay stock upper mount down with backside facing up.

Set new upper mount plate centered on top of shock mount as shown. Mark and drill (4) 3/8”

holes into the stock shock mount. Bolt new upper mount to stock mount using 3/8” bolts supplied.

4. Bolt bracket assembly back on to frame rail and drill 2 3/8” holes, approximately up 3/4” and over

3/4” from stock upper bolt. Be sure there is nothing in the way behind the frame rail when drilling.

(gas lines, vacuum lines, brakelines, etc.) Install the (2) 3/8” bolts provided and tighten.

5. Remove U-Bolts and insert new lower bracket in between u-bolt plate and leaf spring. Install U-

Bolts. (Do Not Tighten at This Time.)

6. Install the 1/2” x 10 1/2 “ through lower bracket by first using a washer, then shock, bracket ear,

spacer, stock shock mount, spacer, bracket ear, shock, washer, and nut.Tighten. Now tighten U-

Bolts to 85-90 Ft. Lbs.

7. Use the 1/2” x 2 1/2” hardware provided to install shocks to upper brackets.

8. Install tire and tighten.

6. Repeat the above steps on the opposite side.

7. Once all shocks are installed, check all components for proper clearance. Retorque all hardware

after the first 100 miles and periodically there after.
